Okay, everyone loves projects. That is why we search out to find the piece of a puzzle that meets the needs of a thing of beauty. Sometimes a project will take on a life of it's own and sometimes a project will take over our lives, but when it is finally done and you can stand back and enjoy the fruits of your labor you hear the siren of another project calling.
Well here is a project that was started about the year 2000. This is a 1936 EL. The pictures are mostly of the finishing phase.
The following images are of a 1931 Indian 101 Scout that made a return trip back to the states from Argentina. The poor creature was in sad shape, but had just enough life left in it to return to the road again. After four years she was flying across the desert at 75mph!
A picture of the front end and wheel I bought from Gerry and the chain guard from the Australia
The frame and forks in primer with some nickle plated goodies
The engine after a test run!
The beautiful Splitdorf magneto! I wish all motorcycles had one of these!
The mock up!
The first ride with a friend!
The first show!
